Research Institute for Waldorf Education

Founded in 1996, the Research Institute for Waldorf Education (RIWE) sponsors research in Waldorf educational issues such as child development, curriculum innovations, the role of digital media, and health issues related to children and adolescents. RIWE offers materials for free download on its Online Waldorf Library (OWL) and publishes a wide range of books and pamphlets under the imprimatur of Waldorf Publications. Twice yearly RIWE publishes the journal Research Bulletin with articles on themes related to Waldorf education.
