Every year at least 20 educators have the opportunity to observe lessons in other European countries. Various courses and seminars for Waldorf teachers are also very actively attended. Students can take part in various internships - surveying a site, agricultural and social internships, and various social projects.
In addition to classes, the school offers various interest groups that enable everyone to develop their talent discover and develop. There has long been a school orchestra at the Free Waldorf School Adazi, which has delighted listeners not only in Latvia but also in many places in Europe with its unconventional sound and arrangements.
The Free Waldorf School Adazi has the status of an association (a non-profit organization), therefore it is not a for-profit commercial organization. The parental contribution is intended for the operation and maintenance of the school, not for the profit of a specific person, as would be the case with a GmbH. This allows families who have chosen this pedagogy for their children to attend the school, and not just families who can financially afford it. Therefore, we are always very grateful when the school has supporters who can help these families whose financial situation has currently deteriorated.
