IP Liceul Teoretic Waldorf

Chisinau Waldorf School was founded in 1992. Initially, it had the status of experimental school-kindergarten (1992-2005) and started off with two school classes and two kindergarten groups. In 2005 the school was reorganized into Waldorf General Secondary School. Later, in 2012 it received the status of LTE Waldorf (Theoretical Experimental Lyceum). Since then the students are able to graduate with the Baccalaureate level. The number of pupils has been continuously increasing. About 700 students and 80 children are attending the Lyceum and the Kindergarten. There are 24 classes (12 parallel classes) and 3 kindergarten groups. The school is located in a picturesque corner of the city on the forest's edge. High school students now have lessons in the new building, which was built through the efforts of the community and with the support of the Friends of Waldorf Education.
