Of royal children and queen bees. With preschool children through the bee year

For ten years now, bees and solitary insects, which unfortunately are often forgotten, have been an integral part of our preschool concept. We build nesting possibilities from different materials, redesign our garden every year to be bee and insect friendly, pass on information to parents, listen to fairy tales and stories about bees, bumblebees and other insects, visit our beekeeper and his bees regularly, extract honey and ... oh, there is so much more to tell!

And by the way: in our new house, built of wood, clay and flax, which we are about to move into, we naturally have the bees thought! Almost the entire roof area is planted with bee pasture and is accessible. That means we could even house bee colonies there in the future...
